Inc. Magazine and Clinton Foundation Select Axispoint President and CEO Daniel DiSano as Mentor and Model for Entrepreneurs

New York, NY (PR Newswire) - February 4, 2010

Axispoint, Inc., a leading provider of technology solutions, today announced that Daniel DiSano, the company's President and Chief Executive Officer, has been selected as a mentor for the William J. Clinton Foundation's Entrepreneur Mentoring Program (EMP). The program, a partnership between the Clinton Foundation's Economic Opportunity Initiative and Inc. magazine, pairs entrepreneurs running growth companies in underserved communities with industry leaders who provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and skill development. DiSano has been paired with Kalpana Patel, President and CEO of Unique Comp., Inc., a New York based MWBE information technology services provider specializing in providing ERP, Infrastructure Security and Resource Management Services to government agencies.

When asked about his involvement with the program, DiSano said the following: "It is an honor to have been chosen as a mentor by Inc. magazine and the Clinton Foundation. The pursuit of growth and entrepreneurship are synonymous with both organizations, and have always been core passions of mine. It is extremely gratifying for me to be able to advise Kalpana and her company, who have had a fantastic growth story to date. I am excited to help her grow her business and reach new heights as a future star in technology."

"EMP is an effort focused on the power of entrepreneurship to create lasting economic development in underserved communities throughout the U.S.," said Parisa Sabeti, Director of Clinton Economic Opportunity Initiative at the William J. Clinton Foundation. "EMP is grateful to mentors like Dan, who volunteer time out of their already busy schedules in order to impart their wisdom on our qualified mentees and recognize the essential role that small businesses hold in economic recovery and development."

EMP currently works with entrepreneurs in Oakland, Chicago, Philadelphia, Newark, and New York. Once mentees apply and are selected for the program, they are paired with highly successful business leaders and entrepreneur mentors who have been recruited by Inc. magazine, a publication dedicated to successful small businesses and entrepreneurs.
