Scott Powell co-founded Axispoint in 1994. He is currently Executive Vice President, managing the Application Services group.

As co-founder of Axispoint, Mr. Powell has been part of the development of all aspects of the organization and has been specifically focused on operations and client delivery. Leveraging his software development experience, he founded the Application Services Group at Axispoint in 1999 by creating a division focused on implementation and management of custom software solutions and web based applications.

Prior to co-founding Axispoint, Mr. Powell spent several years in technology consulting as a systems engineer focused on performance and security of midrange systems and participated in large scale software development projects. He founded two IT services firms focused on network infrastructure and systems integration and spent three years developing and managing medical billing applications for medical practices, clinics and hospitals. Mr. Powell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University.
