Daniel DiSano is a seasoned business and growth executive with a track record in building companies. He has been President and CEO of Axispoint since June 2002.
Under Mr. DiSano’s leadership, Axispoint has experienced twentyfold organic growth and has rapidly become the trusted technology partner to their clients. During his tenure, he has worked diligently to increase revenue and profitability, recruit a strong team focused on customer care, reorganize the corporate structure, and solidify strategic partnerships within the technology industry. Mr. DiSano has plans to continue the growth initiatives he has established at the company in order to further develop Axispoint’s brand both domestically and internationally. The company has achieved the following recent accolades: three time (2007-2009) honoree for the Everything Channel Fast Growth 100, three time (2007-2009) honoree for the Inc. 5000, two time (2008, 2009) award winner for the VAR Business 500 including Newcomer of the Year, two time (2008, 2009) award winner of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, and Cisco Systems’ two time Mobility Partner of the Year and Vertical Partner of the Year.
Prior to Axispoint, Mr. DiSano served as an officer at HQ Global Workplaces, the world's leading provider of serviced offices. Mr. DiSano helped grow the company from $40 million to over $600 million in sales in less than four years. Prior to HQ, Mr. DiSano was Senior Vice President of Operations at FrontLine Capital Group, a technology-related operating and venture capital firm. Mr. DiSano worked closely with FrontLine's partner companies on accelerating growth and served as interim CEO and Board Director for several entities. Mr. DiSano: assisted in raising over $500 million in capital across multiple entities; helped roll-up the serviced offices industry (approximately 50 acquisitions to create HQ Global Workplaces); and designed, implemented and integrated several successful organizations.
Mr. DiSano has years of management and technology consulting experience with Booz•Allen & Hamilton and Charles River Associates focused on building and growing small to medium-sized enterprises and Fortune 500 companies. He received an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and was valedictorian of his undergraduate class at Clark University.
Mr. DiSano was invited by President Barack Obama to join Obama’s TMT (Technology, Media and Telecom Committee) where he assisted the Campaign in writing technology policy. Following the election, he was asked to serve on the President’s Transition Team as a member of TIGR (Technology, Innovation and Government Reform) where he lent his leadership and experience to help with initiatives including the Stimulus Package, Government Innovation, and Pervasive Broadband.
Mr. DiSano is on the Board of Directors of Young President’s Organization (YPO) Metro NY and the Advisory Board of the Non Profit Help Desk (NPHD). He is also founder, president, and chair of The Lorraine I. DiSano Cancer Foundation that focuses on identifying innovative cancer research and using funds to support such initiatives.
